Education is a vital tool in developing a nation, when you educate a child you educate a nation. It is said that over three million children are out of school in Nigeria and efforts have been made by various stakeholders in the NGO sector to reduce the number of children that are out of school.
Sharing Prosperity School is a school birthed out of passion to ensure that the internally displaced persons at the camp in Kuchigoro,in the FCT ,Abuja are not counted among the out of school children in Nigeria.
The school which is a three structured classroom with over 60pupils is located inside the camp started operations 2017 by volunteers who themselves are victims of the insurgence in Borno.
Kuchigoro camp was established in 2014 after the Gwoza community in Borno fled for safety,since then up until the school was established there has not been any school.
SMILE HUMANITARIN INITIATIVE visited the Sharing Prosperity School today to render a helping hand to the pupils of the school.
